At Mane Up Memphis, we empower individuals to take control of their lives, break free from limiting beliefs, and build the future they deserve. We are not here to save anyone—we are here to provide the tools, support, and accountability needed for real, lasting change.

Since our launch in July 2024, we have directly impacted participants and their families, helping them successfully complete structured programs. We are on track to serve hundreds of Memphians annually, equipping them with the mental, financial, and personal growth resources they need to succeed.

At Mane Up Memphis, we believe in accountability, self-determination, and taking action. We are not just another nonprofit—we are a movement. Our message is simple: No one is coming to save you—it’s time to stand up and take charge of your own life.

Needs Statment

Memphis youth (ages 11-25) and their families face barriers to mental health access, financial literacy, and personal development, making it difficult to break cycles of instability. With a poverty rate of 21.7%—nearly double the national average, many households lack the support, education, and tools needed for lasting change.

Mane Up Memphis is the solution. We provide:

Mental health counseling to build emotional resilience.
Financial literacy education for long-term stability.
Community engagement & mentorship to foster self-reliance.
A household-centered approach to create lasting impact beyond the individual.
